Liturgical Ministries

Altar Servers

Serve at the altar to assist the presider at each of our parish Masses. This ministry is open to the youth of our parish, 5th grade and above. Training is provided and commitment is based on a rotational schedule.

Lector Ministry

As a community of faith, we share the Word of God at all liturgical celebrations. Lectors pray, prepare, and proclaim the Scripture readings on an assigned basis. Training is provided and commitment is based on a rotational schedule.

Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministers of Holy Communion are entrusted with the word of ministering Christ's Body and Blood, the Body of Christ, the Church. Ministers of Holy Communion assist with the distribution of Communion at Masses. Training is provided and commitment is based on a rotational schedule.

Ushers

St. Mary's is committed to the scriptural message of hospitality. Our Ushers greet and assist in seating members of the assembly and are attentive to visitors or newcomers to the parish. They also facilitate the offertory collection and assist in post-liturgy preparation for the next celebration. Training is provided and commitment is based on a rotational schedule.

Altar Linen Care

This ministry involves the regular laundering and care of our altar linens and purificators. Commitment is based on a rotational schedule.
