Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Richmond is seeking a full time Coordinator of Christian Formation. As a member of the parish staff, the Coordinator will develop and implement a comprehensive faith formation process which effectively shares the Gospel with children of Saint Mary’s parish from Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Responsibilities include preparation programs for 1st Reconciliation and 1st Eucharist.

The ideal candidate is a Catholic in good standing who holds a bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Religious Education (or related field), and has a demonstrated history of effective ministerial experience in a parish or school setting.

This position is full-time and exempt from the overtime/timekeeping provisions of the FLSA and will include weekend hours. Pay is commensurate with experience and in keeping with classifications and guidance from the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.
